Tonight is the one and only night we are due to travel through the dark. We figured we could zoom through South Carolina and North Carolina, considering we've been here most of our lives. We will then enjoy Tennesse during daylight, ending our day one adventure in Arkanasas!
After much debate to keep this plan, even after dad's pleads to avoid falling asleep at the wheel... We loaded up on coffee and hit the road.
To our surprise... Here we are driving through the rocky mountains, in the pitch dark, with a stunning view of stars above us. After an hour of driving with this clear sky, we all noticed seeing multiple shooting stars. What does tonight happen to be? The last metor shower of 2012 ;) called the "Annual Geminid Metor Shower" ;)
Perfect entertainment into the wee hours of the morning as we begin our crossing of North Carolina and into Tennesse.
